MICROSET 202 REPLICATING COMPOUNDS
Microset 202 Replicating Compounds
Overview of Microset 202 Replicating Compounds
The Microset 202 Replicating Compounds are high-resolution, two-part silicone polymers specifically designed for the precise replication of metal surfaces. With an exceptional resolution of 0.1 μm, they are particularly suited for metallographic applications. Their low-viscosity, free-flowing nature minimizes the risk of air entrapment, facilitating uniform application over extensive areas. However, due to their higher cured hardness of 45 Shore A, these compounds are less flexible than the 101 series and may be prone to tearing when removed from surfaces with complex geometries or significant re-entrant details. They are ideal for replicating metallurgical microstructures, rough surfaces, cavities, tubes, and thread profiles.
Key Features of Microset 202 Replicating Compounds
