REPLICATING COMPOUNDS ISOMARK 121 FORMING PUTTY
Replicating Compounds Isomark 121 Forming Putty
Overview of Isomark 121 Forming Putty Replicating Compounds
The Isomark 121 Forming Putty Replicating Compounds are high-viscosity, two-part synthetic rubber materials designed for macroscopic molding of surface shape and geometry. The two components are mixed manually in equal proportions and then pressed onto the surface to be replicated.
Key Features of Isomark 121 Forming Putty Replicating Compounds
- High resolution: Capable of reproducing details up to 10 μm, allowing precise evaluation of surface profiles.
- Fast curing: The 121F grade offers a working time of 3 minutes and a full cure in 10 minutes at 25°C, ideal for rapid results.
- Slow curing: The 121S grade provides a working time of 20 minutes and a curing time of 60 minutes at 25°C, suitable for high ambient temperatures or large surface molding.
- Low shrinkage: Less than 0.1%, ensuring dimensional stability of replicas.
- Versatility: Suitable for molding and measuring surface profiles and geometries, including damage assessment and surface finishing evaluation.
Grades and Applications
The Isomark 121 Forming Putty Replicating Compounds are available in two grades to meet various application requirements:
- 121F: Fast curing, high-viscosity, two-part compound, mixed and applied manually. Ideal for use in low temperatures or when rapid results are required.
- 121S: Slow curing, high-viscosity, two-part compound, mixed and applied manually. Particularly useful for high ambient temperatures or molding large surfaces.
Available Formats
