A-A-59166 (PT-766) has been authorized by GSA as a replacement for MIL-W-5044 TY. I and TY. II. PT-766 is a non-slip coating used for walkways on exterior aircraft surfaces. PT-766 comes is a smooth texture (without grit) as TYPE I and a rough texture (with grit) as TYPE II. PT-766 is a unique formulation of high molecular urethane resins, which cures at ambient temperatures.
