SOCOSURF A2250

SOCOSURF A2250 is a fluorinated additive to the SOCOSURF A1858-A1806 bath useful for deoxidation applications of aluminium alloys, for example before application of chemical machining and welding (spot) masks.

The SOCOSURF A1858-1806-A2250 bath is used for deoxidation or bleaching of aluminium and its alloys after degreasing or alkaline pickling.

• The SOCOSURF A1858-A1806-A2250 bath is used by immersion at room temperature and up to 60 and up to 60°C.
• It is free of hexavalent chromium.
• SOCOSURF A1858 is the concentrated acid part for the deoxidation bath.
• SOCOSURF A1806 is the essential part to bring all the characteristics to the treatment bath.
• SOCOSURF A2250 is the essential fluorinated part to be added to the deoxidation baths before masking and spot welding and/or to increase the attack speed.
• All the active elements of the bath can be readjusted by adding the products of the assembly and also by adding SOCOSURF A1850 and SOCOMUL TA to extend the life of the bath and maintain its performance.
  SOCOSURF A1850 is an acid additive.
• SOCOMUL TA is an additive which allows to readjust the surface tension of the bath.
