Contains 30 samples of 7/8 "x 3/8" nickel plates to quickly assess the surface finish for six of the most common machining methods.
The marks for each type of finish are in AA and the metric equivalent Ra. The standard gives the inspector a realistic idea of the appearance and texture of the machined components. Instructions and the CLA / Ra / AA correlation graph are included.
Calibrated unit includes the optional certified N.I.S.T calibration report.
